The older of the two Bellinghams moved to Germany in the summer of 2020, signing for Dortmund, and they are one of two clubs keen to bring his younger sibling to the Bundesliga. Both outfits sent scouts to Sunderland's 1-0 win at Derby on Tuesday to watch the midfielder in action, report The Sun.

Jude Bellingham has taken the world of football by storm since joining Dortmund and then moving onto Real Madrid in 2023 – and his younger brother Jobe is also growing in stature. The 19-year-old has scored four goals for the Mackems this term but it is his all-round midfield abilities that have caught the eye, including a rangy style that is reminiscent of the England and Real star.

Like Jude, Jobe started out at Birmingham City before moving on to Sunderland in 2023. While he has developed a little later than his brother, Jobe is only 19 and has been one of the top performers in the Championship this season, starting all but three of his side's league matches.
WHAT NEXT FOR SUNDERLAND AND BELLINGHAM?
While a transfer is being mooted, it seems unlikely to happen this month. Sunderland sit fourth in the Championship, three points off the automatic promotion positions, and will be desperate to keep their best players as they aim to an end an eight-year absence from the top flight.
