Tottenham face one of their toughest tests of the season this weekend when they travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp has lost to a big six rival just once at home in the Premier League since he replaced Brendan Rodgers as Reds boss, and Spurs’ record on Merseyside is far from fantastic.
Also recovering from a 2-0 win over Manchester United on Wednesday night, Mauricio Pochettino will have to get his team selection spot on this weekend, not only selecting the right players for the opposition but also rotating those who are physically drained after such a demanding midweek game.
That could well lead to changes in the full-back positions, not least because they’re so vital to the way Tottenham play by providing the dynamism out wide. Ben Davies started last time out but with Danny Rose available again after an injury layoff, should the England international get the nod at Anfield instead?
Amid an injury-stricken campaign, Rose has made just five Premier League starts so far this term, but he’s still one of the best left-backs in Europe when fully fit. So, Spurs fans, who would you start against the Reds? Let us know by voting below…
