Leeds United have had a bid turned down for Polish midfielder Taras Romanchuk according to The Daily Mail.
What’s the story?
The 26-year-old plays for Polish outfit Jagiellonia Bialystok as a defensive midfielder and has been capped by his country.
He scored six goals and registered four assists in the league last season, often taking the role of captain for his club.
According to the report, Leeds submitted a £1.2million bid for the international which has been rejected but Leeds could go back again for the powerful midfielder.

A left-field choice
Leeds are yet to complete a permanent transfer this summer despite their best efforts and now another bid has been turned down it seems their completely out of luck.
However, if they go back for Romanchuk, it would be an inspired signing.
Bielsa is famed for using midfielders in his defence as part of his idiosyncratic formation, and Romanchuk has all the qualities to succeed there as a competent ball-player who is happy to defend.
It may not be the most exciting signing that Leeds have been linked with all summer, but it could prove vital for their season ahead.
