Loads of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to the 2-0 defeat to West Brom, and they’re not too happy with January signing Lovre Kalinic.
When Aston Villa signed Kalinic last month, fans were simply delighted they didn’t have to watch Orjan Nyland between the posts anymore.
Kalinic has endured a pretty disastrous start to life at Villa Park though, and that start went from bad to worse during the defeat to the Baggies.
Darren Moore’s side rocked up to Villa Park without star man Dwight Gayle, who is serving a two-game ban for diving.
That didn’t stop them tearing through what was once again a disorganised Villa defence though, as the Baggies scored twice in quick succession just before half time.
Kalinic was unable to stop a Hal Robson-Kanu header before a deflection helped Jay Rodriguez bag the second, and the Croatian international was then withdrawn at half time with a suspected concussion.
The extent of the 28 year-old’s injury is not yet known, but the Twitter reactions down below are not too happy with his performances anyway, as he has now kept just one clean sheet in seven Championship starts…
